Our school is situated in a residential area in a small village where we have approximately 200 pupils. Due to the school being in a Cul-de-sac it generates a huge amount of local traffic at the start and end of the school day and can become extremely hazardous for our pupils and families. Apart from a tiny minority of families, none of our pupils live much further than half a mile from school and therefore we want to encourage many of our pupils to walk, scoot, ride, car share or part drive to school. We believe that this will educate our pupils in sustainable travel and the obvious health benefits. We need an incentive for our pupils to change their travel habits and believe the Traffic Snake Game will do that.
