Β τάξη

Οι μαθητές της δευτέρας τάξης του σχολείου, αφού συζήτησαν για τη σημασία των οικολογικών μετακινήσεων…

• … έμαθαν αγγλικά τραγούδια για τα μεταφορικά μέσα.

• … έφτιαξαν τα δικά τους Mini Transportation Books,  τα οποία εξέθεσαν στην έκθεση βιβλίου που διοργανώθηκε στο χώρο του σχολείου από 8/6/2017 έως 15/6/2017.

• … διασκεύασαν παιδικά αγγλικά τραγούδια προκειμένου να στείλουν το μήνυμα των οικολογικών μετακινήσεων.

Δ τάξη

Οι μαθητές της τετάρτης τάξης…

• … έμαθαν το τραγούδι ‘Traffic Snake Game Song’
• … έκαναν την πρώτη τους προσπάθεια να το αποδώσουν στην ελληνική γλώσσα.
• … διάβασαν το βιβλίο της Edith Baer ‘Τhis is the way we go to school’ με το οποίο πληροφορήθηκαν για διάφορους τρόπους μετακίνησης από και προς το σχολείο σε διάφορες χώρες του κόσμου
• … αντλώντας έμπνευση από το βιβλίο, δημιούργησαν σελιδοδείκτες και εξέθεσαν τις εργασίες τους στην έκθεση βιβλίου αγγλικής και αμερικανικής παιδικής λογοτεχνίας που διοργανώθηκε στο σχολείο

ΣΤ τάξη

Οι μαθητές της έκτης τάξης

• …παρακολούθησαν τη βραβευμένη ταινία μικρού μήκους ‘Soar’
• … εμπνεύστηκαν μία φανταστική ιστορία με ένα μήνυμα ελπίδας, και αλληλεγγύης όπου πρωταγωνιστεί η αγάπη για ένα συγκεκριμένο μεταφορικό μέσο.

Η φανταστική ιστορία με τίτλο ‘Soar’ από μαθητές της έκτης τάξης

Soar

On a sunny day Annie wanted to fly her model plane in the countryside. She went to a nearby hill and tried to fly her plane, but she couldn’t. Annie was disappointed.

She sat at the table and suddenly, while she was looking at the model plane instructions, a little suitcase fell on her head. Annie was surprised. Then, a tiny object which looked like a plane crashed into the table.

Out of this ‘plane thing’ came Thumbelina. Thumbelina was scared of the ‘big girl’ and grabbed Annie’s pencil to use as a weapon against Annie. Annie smiled at the little girl and made her realize that she was a friend. Then, she started to think how she could make the little girl’s plane fly again. After a few unsuccessful efforts, Annie got disappointed. So did her tiny friend. ‘We will never make it!’ they both said.

Suddenly, they heard a noise coming from the sky. They looked up. The sky was full of tiny planes flying to the south. ‘My friends!’ cried Thumbelina. ‘I must follow them before it gets dark!’

Annie looked at the little girl who had started crying. She knew she had to try one more time. She gathered all her tools and started working hard. When she finished, she told the little girl to get on the plane. The afternoon breeze promised the two friends that they could make it. And they did. The little plane soared in the violet afternoon sky. Annie waved at her little friend and she waved back at her.

Later in the evening, when it got dark, Annie looked at the sky and saw a bright twinkling star. She knew it was her own ‘star’ that would shine forever. That night she realized that only when you care about other people and you show love, you can achieve your own goals, too.
